Frequently Asked Questions
The American Med Spa Association defines a medical spa as a hybrid between an aesthetic medical center and a day spa with four core elements: (1) the provision of non-invasive (i.e., non-surgical) aesthetic medical services; (2) under the general supervision of a medical director; (3) performed by trained, experienced and qualified practitioners; (4) with onsite supervision by a licensed healthcare professional.
Most medical spa procedures are considered medical in nature. Because of this, Nebraska requires that prior to your initial treatment, you will have a brief in-person exam by our nurse practitioner.
In the state of Nebraska, yes, that’s perfectly fine. Most states allow RNs to inject Botox and fillers, with a few important caveats. One, you should always see a physician (either MD or DO) or a mid-level provider (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) before your first treatment. This is true not only for injectables but for all medical treatments, including microneedling. If you go to a new medical spa and are treated by an RN without ever seeing either an MD, DO, NP, or PA, the medical spa is very likely breaking the law and does not have proper medical supervision in place.
Two, the RN must be properly trained, qualified, and experienced. And don’t simply take their word for it—ask for their license number (all nurses are registered with the state), ask to speak to their supervising medical director, and ask for references. These should be readily available.

This answer may be different for each individual. Typically, a good skin care regimen is the first step. Custom facials, microneedling, and injectables all play a unique role in reversing facial aging. We will customize an individual plan for each patient based on your needs!

When you call to schedule an appointment, the time is blocked off, especially for you. During your appointment, we make every effort to run on time. Since these appointments are set aside for you and only you, we require a 24-hour notice of cancellation for your appointment to be canceled without charge.
Failure to provide the required notice will result in a non-cancellation/no-show fee that must be settled before another appointment can be rescheduled. We believe this policy allows us to provide the best possible care and customer service for all of our patients.
Refunds for defective products will be given in the form of spa credit or for new products. No refunds will be given for services rendered. We will do our best to adjust your treatment to meet your satisfaction.
Due to regulations, points are non-transferable. Federal government regulations (HIPAA) prevent us from allowing joint accounts. Each individual patient is welcome to have their own individual program account.
